I write about systems — the ones that reduce people to tiers, grades, and contribution scores, and call it order. Sometimes that system is a crystalline city-state on the Ozark Peninsula. Sometimes it's an Atlantic Republic that measures worth by the ledger. Sometimes it's quieter than that: the rules nobody wrote down, that everyone still enforces.

Every series I've built comes back to the same question: what do you do when the world has already decided what you're worth? Sovereign Minds answers it with a soldier who stops obeying the measurement. The Image Series answers it with testimony — a gospel that spreads through a five-hundred-year-old regime built to calculate, contain, and suppress it. The Gritty Retellings take the answers further back, stripping the stained glass off lives everyone assumes they already know.

I develop covers and concepts before I write a word of prose — for me, a book starts as an image, then becomes a voice. I iterate obsessively, both on the page and on the jacket, until the two finally agree with each other.

When I'm not building the next system for a character to outgrow, I'm in Florida, tracking specs, margins, and spine widths with the same intensity I bring to plot. Every detail is part of the story — even the ones readers never consciously notice.
